TQUK Certified Level 4 Teacher Training Programme.

Strengthening skills, perspectives and global teaching practices for the classrooms of tomorrow.

Because great learning begins with great educators.

2-week residential
Hosted in UK boarding schools
Programme overview

A globally-benchmarked teaching qualification — lived, not lectured.

The TQUK Level 4 Teacher Training Programme is a UK-certified, two-week residential immersion for serving and aspiring educators. It is designed for teachers who want to bring world-class pedagogy back to their own classrooms.

Delivered on the campus of a partner UK boarding school, the programme blends Level 4-equivalent academic content with the daily life of a British boarding-school faculty — lesson observations, departmental meetings, pastoral practice, and reflective seminars led by senior UK educators.

Each cohort is small — 16 to 24 educators — so peer learning is intentional and feedback is personal.

Why educators choose this programme

A UK qualification, classroom-tested practice, an international peer network and a fortnight inside one of Britain's most respected boarding schools.

UK-certified credential

A TQUK Level 4 certificate — recognised across the UK and internationally — on completion.

Global perspective

Comparative pedagogy: see how Indian, British and international classrooms approach the same questions.

Real classroom practice

Observe, teach and receive feedback inside the host school's term-time lessons — not a simulated environment.

Reflective seminars

Daily, small-group seminars led by senior UK educators — the engine of the programme.

An international cohort

You finish with a network of peers across India and beyond — people you'll keep teaching alongside, long after.

End-to-end logistics

UK visa, flights, on-campus accommodation, meals, insurance and pastoral support — all managed.

Learning outcomes

What you'll be able to do, differently.

By the end of the programme, every participant will demonstrate mastery across five core domains.

Design lessons that move learners

Plan, sequence and adapt lessons using outcome-led, evidence-based methods drawn from UK practice.

Lead a classroom with presence

Manage attention, participation and behaviour with clarity, calm and consistency — the boarding-school way.

Assess what actually matters

Use formative assessment and feedback techniques that change what students do next — not just measure what they did.

Support every student pastorally

Apply safeguarding, well-being and pastoral-care principles to a real classroom and a real cohort.

Integrate technology with judgement

Choose and deploy classroom technology where it adds value — and refuse it where it doesn't.

Develop your own teaching philosophy

Articulate, in writing and in practice, the principles that guide your classroom — and the evidence behind them.

Inside the fortnight

A day, a week, the whole programme

A typical day balances classroom immersion with reflection and practice. Evenings are reserved for cohort seminars, faculty dinners, and quiet reading time.

  • Day 01–02Arrival

    Induction, campus walkthrough, baseline lesson

Meet your cohort and faculty. Tour the host school. Deliver a baseline lesson — the starting point we'll measure progress against.

  • Day 03–05Pedagogy core

    Lesson design, sequencing and assessment

Three days of evidence-informed pedagogy — with daily observation of UK practitioners and structured peer feedback.

  • Day 06–08Classroom leadership

Behaviour, attention, and the boarding-school ethos

How a leading boarding school sets routines, holds standards and looks after wellbeing — with practical translations to your classroom.

  • Day 09–11Pastoral & safeguarding

    Looking after the whole student

UK safeguarding frameworks, mental-health first-aid, and the specifics of supporting adolescents in a high-trust environment.

  • Day 12–13Assessment week

    Final lesson, written reflection, viva

Deliver the final lesson, submit a 2,500-word reflective portfolio, and complete a 30-minute viva with two senior educators.

  • Day 14Graduation

    Awarding of TQUK certificates

Closing ceremony with the host head of school, individual feedback documents, and a celebratory dinner with the cohort.
